Congratulations: The venerable „Grande Dame“ on the exhibition centre is 100 years old! She retains her timeless appearance of inimitable elegance and character! The Munich architect Friedrich von Thiersch brought the profile onto the drawing board in 1907 and Kaiser Wilhelm II opened the dazzling construction just under two years later in May 1909.

The freshly restored and partially reconstructed dome comes as an up-to-date event location on a large scale: over 6,000 m² interior as well as the charming balconies provide space for 13,500 people. Three historic rooms as well as offices and cloakrooms complete the package. Lifting platforms can be used as grandstands and the glass dome can be blacked out. The connection between the Festhalle, Hall 1 and the Forum as well as the immediate proximity to the Congress Center and Hall 3 offer event ideas of every size.
