Fairground Facilities
From convention furniture to professional signage: the buildings and the diverse open air spaces for events on the fairground of the Messe Frankfurt are underpinned by a first class and functional infrastructure that guarantees an implementation tailored to your technical requirements.
The facilities include:
- Furniture – a vast stock of it
- Structured cabling for an optimal IT performance
- Comprehensive W-LAN coverage
- The 'Via Mobile' moving walkway – a 'weather-proof' conveyer belt linking all the event locations uninterrupted by setup and dismantling traffic within the fairground
- Designated locations for the signposting of events on the exhibition center grounds in the form of flags, banners and pylons
- Installed touchscreen monitors that can be plied with signals individually to guide visitors in the Forum, Congress Center and Portalhaus
- Public car parking facilities under the Congress Center, the Messeturm and the Marriott-Hotel
- 4,000 parking spaces on the fairground – depending on the event situation – as well as the option of using the Messe Frankfurt's Rebstock car park with its 5,400 spaces and shuttle busses
- Facilities suitable for the handicapped throughout the site
Direct local public transport connection:
- U4 (underground train) Station Festhalle at the City Entrance - for events on the eastern side (Festhalle, Forum, Congress Center, Hall 1)
- Tram lines 16 and 17 – with stops right next to the Congress Center
- S-Bahn (inter urban train) Station Messe for events in the centre or west side of the fairground
